About PropTrace SG

A free Singapore property transaction search tool — built by a private property owner to make public URA transaction data easier to explore.

What is PropTrace SG?

PropTrace SG is a free online tool that makes Singapore's publicly available property transaction data searchable on an interactive map. The tool pulls from the URA Data Service (private residential transactions), the SLA Cadastral Land Parcel dataset (lot polygons for landed homes), and OneMap (address geocoding). All three are official, publicly-licensed Singapore government data sources.

The aim is simple: property buyers, sellers and researchers shouldn't have to pay a subscription or register for an account to see what a street has been transacting at.

Who built this?

PropTrace SG is built and maintained by a Singapore-based private property owner and software engineer. It is not a licensed property agency, and PropTrace SG is not a Council for Estate Agencies (CEA)-registered estate agent or salesperson.

The site is offered as a free public-interest tool — no subscriptions, no paywalls, no data sold to third parties, no email harvesting. Contact for feedback, bug reports or feature requests: [email protected].

About the Featured Listing

The site carries one Featured Listing — a freehold 2-bedroom subsale at The Continuum @ Thiam Siew Avenue, District 15. This unit is the site owner's own property, being sold directly (not through an agent). Agents with buyers and direct buyers are equally welcome to enquire; co-broke terms can be arranged.

Because this is a direct-owner sale and not an estate agency activity, CEA agency registration does not apply to the listing. Any agent representing a buyer should follow their own agency's compliance and documentation requirements.

Data sources and licensing
  • URA Private Residential Transactions — retrieved via the URA Data Service with a registered API key. Used for all transaction figures shown on PropTrace and in the Featured Listing's transaction history table. Licence: URA Data Service terms.
  • SLA Cadastral Land Parcel — landed property lot polygons used in the Property Detail panel. Licence: Singapore Open Data Licence.
  • OneMap — address geocoding. No API key required for public search. Run by Singapore Land Authority.
  • Esri World Imagery — satellite base map, used under free tile terms.

All data shown on PropTrace SG is indicative only. Figures are sourced directly from the government APIs above and updated on each successful sync. They may differ from live data if a sync has failed or is in progress. Before relying on any figure for a transaction or legal purpose, verify independently with the official source.

Privacy

PropTrace SG does not collect personal information from visitors. There is no sign-up, no email capture, no tracking cookie set by this site. The only third-party scripts loaded on the Featured Listing page are:

  • Google Fonts (Playfair Display + Inter) — web-font delivery.
  • Google Ads (gtag.js) — conversion measurement for Google Ads campaigns the site owner runs. No personal data is collected; only anonymous click signals on the WhatsApp, Email and PDF buttons are reported to Google.
  • Leaflet + MarkerCluster (homepage only) — open-source map libraries from unpkg.com, used to render the interactive map.

If you have privacy questions or wish to be excluded from any analytics, email [email protected].
